Excel to PDF
Turn a spreadsheet or CSV into a clean, properly paginated PDF.
About this tool
Sending a table to a client, attaching a budget to a bid, archiving an export: PDF is the one format that opens identically everywhere. Drop an .xlsx, .xls or .csv and a formatted preview appears at once — contrasted headers, alternating rows, hairline borders and column widths fitted to what the cells actually hold.
Pagination is taken seriously. A wide table switches to A4 landscape on its own, the header row repeats at the top of every page so you always know what you are reading, and no row is ever sliced in half across a page break. A multi-sheet workbook produces one section per sheet, each starting on a fresh page with its name as a heading. Values are carried over exactly as Excel displays them, so dates, currencies and decimals keep their formatting. The file is read inside your browser and nothing is uploaded to a server.
Frequently asked questions
How do I actually get the PDF file?
The button opens your browser's print view: pick "Save as PDF" as the printer destination, then choose where to save it. The PDF is produced by the browser's own print engine, which is why it matches the preview so closely.
My table is very wide — will it be unreadable?
Past seven columns, or when rows are long, the page orientation switches to A4 landscape automatically. You can force portrait or landscape in the advanced options if you would rather decide yourself.
Are column headers repeated on every page?
Yes, that is the default: the first row is treated as a header and reappears at the top of each page of the PDF. You can turn it off if your file has no title row.
Does it accept CSV files?
Yes, along with legacy .xls files. The CSV separator — semicolon, comma or tab — is detected automatically, so both US-style and European exports open correctly.
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Yes — the tool is free, needs no account and has no usage limit. Processing happens locally in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
