About this tool
Marking a quote as DRAFT, stamping a file CONFIDENTIAL, dropping your firm's logo on every page: you set the watermark once and it repeats across the whole document. Choose the text, tilt, opacity and color — or import an image — and the preview on your actual first page shows exactly what you will get before you apply it.
The watermark is drawn on top of the existing content with no re-rendering, so the PDF text stays selectable and the file size barely moves. As everywhere on Wootil, the work happens in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use my own logo?
Yes. Import a PNG or JPG and set its width and opacity. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result.
Can someone remove the watermark?
Yes, with PDF editing software. A watermark deters copying and shows where a document came from; it does not lock it — add a password for that.
Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes. Every page is watermarked by default, and the advanced options accept ranges such as 1-3,7.
Are accents and special characters supported?
Latin accents are. Non-Latin alphabets are not covered by the standard PDF fonts: those characters are cleanly substituted and the tool warns you.
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Yes — the tool is free, needs no account and has no usage limit. Processing happens locally in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
