Sign PDF
Add your signature to a PDF without printing or scanning anything.
About this tool
Print, sign, scan, send back: the traditional loop wastes a genuinely irritating amount of time. This tool lets you draw your signature with a mouse or a fingertip, or import an image of it, then place it exactly where it belongs on the page before downloading the signed PDF.
Your signature and your document both stay inside your browser — nothing is stored and nothing is transmitted, unlike online signing platforms that keep a copy of everything you sign.
Frequently asked questions
Is this signature legally valid?
It is an image-based (scanned-style) signature, which is accepted for most everyday purposes: quotes, approvals, internal forms, letters of consent. For documents that require a qualified electronic signature (eIDAS in Europe, equivalent schemes elsewhere), use a certified provider.
Can I reuse my signature?
Yes — draw it once or import an image (ideally a PNG with a transparent background) and reposition or resize it freely on any page.
Can I place the signature precisely?
Yes. Drag it anywhere on the page preview and resize it with the handles until it sits exactly where the signature line is.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes, and it is the nicest way to do it: drawing with a fingertip on a touchscreen gives a far more natural signature than a mouse.
Is it really free, with no sign-up?
Yes — the tool is free, needs no account and has no usage limit. Processing happens locally in your browser, so your data never leaves your device.
